Geoff Woolley

Geoff is a Founder at Post Street Advisors and a Co-Founder and Partner at Patamar Capital. A 30+ year venture capital veteran, he has managed over $2 billion in investment capital and deployed debt and equity into 400+ companies—including early investments in Ciena, Hotmail, and Coinstar. A pioneer in venture debt, Geoff founded Dominion Ventures and Kreos Capital, and has been instrumental in launching impactful microfinance initiatives and social enterprise models across Asia.

Throughout his career, Geoff has launched landmark vehicles such as Unitus Equity Fund (now Elevar Equity), Unitus Capital, and the $18.5 million University Venture Fund—the largest student-led venture fund in the U.S. At Post Street Advisors, he brings decades of fund creation, capital deployment, and institutional governance experience to advise emerging managers and scale back-office operations globally.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah. He currently holds multiple board roles, including MicroBenefits, Jana Care, Kinara, SKS Microfinance, and Samhita Microfinance.
